Location. The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel is located on Canal Street in New Orleans, La. The hotel sits where the restaurants, shops and nightclubs of the French Quarter meet the city's bustling central business district. The Shops at Canal Place is one block away while the Aquarium of the Americas is within two blocks of the hotel. The hotel is within three blocks of The Riverwalk, and swamp tours take off three blocks away.
Hotel Features. The atrium lobby features a gallery and fountain, and floor to ceiling windows that overlook historic Canal Street. The hotel's Roux Bistro provides a taste of contemporary New Orleans cuisine with a Creole flair in such delicacies as po' boy sandwiches, blackened catfish and crawfish ettouff�e. The restaurant also includes a 50 foot mural depicting the street life of old world New Orleans. The Pelican Bar boasts live jazz and delicious cocktails.
